The Professional Golf Marshals Association (PGMA) partnered with Spectrum for the creation of a 60-second national television spot. The organization is using the commercial to solicit membership and promote the PGMA brand. The spot, shot with a jib-mounted Panasonic HDX 900 camera, had a cast of 35 and was a successful blend of a comedic sketch with a straight-forward sales pitch. The group is hoping the tag line “It’s good for the game” will become one of the more memorable on TV in 2007. |

Spectrum Video has produced several infomercials over the past few months, shooting them in studio and making use of Chris Hayes’ custom set designing skills. Aero Media has a hit on its hands with its 30-minute infomercial for the SnoozTime Ultra Dreamer Pillow. The piece includes footage from a three-camera studio shoot as well as on-location testimonials for the washable, bead-like pillow. The product is selling well across the nation. Aero Media’s second Spectrum-produced infomercial was for EtArol II pain management system. This three-camera, 30-minute spot is hosted by James Elliott and Dr. Dennis Harris of G. H. Associates, Inc. It is airing nationally. Spectrum’s quick turnaround on Dupler TV’s infomercial impressed the client. This 30-minute show on Shields Virgin Coconut Oil was also hosted by James Elliott. He was joined on camera by Dr. Bruce Fife, an author and leading authority on the health benefits of Shields VCO. Nightingale Conant was in studio to take care of business on its Dolf DeRoos property investment system’s 30-minute infomercial. Spectrum staffed the shoot with two camera operators, a teleprompter operator and makeup artist. In addition, DeRoos used the sound booth for three separate spots. |

Spectrum recently worked with the Arizona Lutheran Academy (ALA) to develop a fundraising video targeting contributions and planned gifts to the ALA Endowment Fund. ALA has been experiencing strong growth in student enrollment and needed a visual communication piece that shared the challenges of growth with prospective contributors. The 10-minute video, shot in HD with the Panasonic HVX 200, shares campus lifestyle highlights as well as student, teacher and parent testimonials and has become the cornerstone of the ALA planned giving effort. |

Spectrum has done all kinds of training videos over the years, but its most recent for Brown-Forman was one of the more interesting. The four-member team went on location at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale to shoot the Finlandia Vodka employee taste-testing training video. The taste-testing talent demonstrated the proper techniques using six types of vodka. |
