Mesa Air

Spectrum brought aboard for video coverage of new Bombardier CJ900

Spectrum was recently asked to take to the air by Mesa Air to get coverage of its new Bombardier CJ900. To get complete coverage of the jet on the ground, we used a Jib with a 24-foot arm. Cameraman Ken Liljegren flew in the chase plane, where the crew pulled the window out mid-flight at about 8,000 feet – wow, did it get loud. The shots looked just like the "Price is Right" jets shot, very pretty stuff. Several local stations picked up the footage through a Mesa Air PR campaign about the new jet and the opportunities that came with it.

Choosing Health

Spectrum teams with the Synergy Group to produce CD-Rom

Spectrum has just completed a CD-Rom for the Synergy Group featuring the "Choosing Health" books (as an Acrobat file) and patient testimonials. The Video features Dr. Mark Force explaining his unique methods for creating functional self-care for his patients. The new CD will be handed out at trade shows and included with the workbook. Using simple, and quick techniques, Spectrum editors can create effective yet cost-efficient “in session” CD-Roms.

Let’s Dance

Spectrum completes Latin dance instructional, exercise video

Learning how to dance and getting in shape is the goal of Herbert Harrison’s new video. Bridgette Maria, a local dance instructor, performed 90 minutes of Latin ballroom dances while Spectrum captured it all on tape. The two-camera shoot wouldn't have been complete without a Jib.  The video is to be distributed at local stores.

The video newsletter consists of the company president's address to employees, employee recognition, training tips, top projects and charities to support. The employees are really getting involved in the show. We feature two employees every month to provide segues between the features.

Desert Foothills Land Trust

Spectrum lends a hand for Rex Allan Jr. show

Phil Hagenah of FilmHouse and the Desert Foothills Land Trust recently hired Spectrum for large-screen projection rigging and video playback at a Rex Allan Jr. concert with the Phoenix Symphony to raise funds for the Land Trust. With aerial shots of Arizona playing behind him, Allan put on a spectacular show at the Rancho Mañana Golf Resort.
