Our new building!

Our new office at 1747 E. Morten Ave. is coming right along. The outer shell has been completed, and the contractor will begin the interior work in March. We will move into the new facility this spring, and will keep you posted on the exact moving date as soon as we know it.  Make sure you all keep that weekend free – as a Friend of Spectrum, you will be required to spend at least 12 hours helping us carry heavy (yet delicate) equipment, paint ceiling murals, or grout tile in the bathroom. First come, first served!

Westcor

Grand re-openings and year-end wrap up

Westcor brought four projects to Spectrum over the last two months:  Arrowhead Towne Center’s grand re-opening;“Nirvana for the Passionate Shopper” ad campaign for Yuma Palms Grand Opening;Flagstaff Mall Christmas “Nirvana” spot; and a year-in-review video/photo montage for the employee holiday party, for which Spectrum also provided A/V support.  In addition, Spectrum dispatched Brad Nirk to get still photography of the Arrowhead re-grand opening festivities and the News Channel 3 Holiday Party at Arrowhead, which included an event with “:The Queen of Clean”.

RSC

Rental Service Corporation video “The Client”

RSC has updated its customer video, and it has created quite an impact.  By using a Steadicam on location, Spectrum Video shows the client’s point of view for the rental process. It portrays the procedure from the moment of walking in the door, though selection of products, to delivery and setup on location. Our stellar editing made this one of our best videos for 2004.  We have submitted it for a Telly award, and will hear the judges’ decision in May.

Goldenthal Productions

Delphine Cortez DVD

Producer Joel Goldenthal asked Spectrum to tape a live studio recording session of Delphine Cortez and her band. Cortez, a local jazz singer, has become more requested in other markets, and felt it was time to make a DVD showcasing her talents.

AutoMedia

Van Chevrolet updates for 2005

Spectrum’s concept of Van Chevrolet TV for Auto Media was so successful for 2004, they are continuing it for the new 2005 models. Since Chevrolet’s factory footage of the new Cobalt was unavailable at the time we edited the infomercial, Spectrum produced its own “factory footage” at Gainey Ranch.  We expect Van TV’s infomercial will fuel their trip down the road to success for 2005.

AV Concepts

Christmas video – time lapse

As part of the year-end AV Concepts presentation, Spectrum was asked to do a time-lapse video from anempty ballroom to a completed event setup at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. This time-lapse (along with the annual Christmas video), was included in a year-end presentation for their holiday party.
