Spectrum Video worked closely with Andrea Stewart of Event Services of America and Renee Roebuck of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce to produce a memorial video for Sen. Jake Flake that would do honor to this Arizona native. The state senator from northern Arizona died last summer at the age of 72 and a memorial was held for him in December at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. Flake also served in the Arizona House of Representatives and was speaker of the House in 2003-04. The video included interviews with his friends and colleagues. |

Mike Evans, the author of five New York Times best sellers, just completed a 30-minute infomercial and 60-second commercial at Spectrum, promoting his latest book Jimmy Carter: The Liberal Left and World Chaos. Evans, an award-winning Middle East journalist, even flew to the Middle East during production of the infomercial to get footage of the latest conflict in the region. James Elliott not only produced, but also provided voiceover. The infomercial and commercial are airing nationally. |

The finishing touches of the Paranormal Matrix television pilot were completed just in time for the National Association of Television Program Executives conference in late January. Ken Liljegren and Gregg Housey met with several executives at the conference to pitch the 30-minute show hosted by Katie Cook of CMT Insiders. The show includes segments with military aerospace historian Michael Schratt, renowned remote viewer Joe McMoneagle and pet psychic Marla Steele. A screening of the pilot was held at Spectrum Jan. 22 and hopefully the terrific feedback we received is a positive sign of things to come. |

The beginning of the year meant malls around the country were preparing for the International Council of Shopping Centers Maxi awards. A vital element to the award submission are videos showing the media coverage or video footage of the entry topic. Spectrum worked quickly to compile five-minute segments for Westcor’s 2008 Super Bowl Event; “What Woman Want, Charla Krupp Tour” for The Oaks Mall, Tysons Corner Center and the Shops at Northbridge; and “Demolition Day at Santa Monica Place.” Spectrum had previously produced the video entry for the “Grand Opening at SanTan Village.” |
